Testing Sections

General knowledge and safe driving practices which ALL commercial drivers should know, including hauling cargo safely are included here.

The Hazmat CDL permit knowledge test is required if you want to haul hazardous materials or waste in amounts that require placarding or any quantity of a material listed as a select agent or toxin in 42 CFR 73.  

This is an Endorsement to the CDL.  

Contains information you need to learn about air brakes. If you want to drive a truck or bus with air brakes, or pull a trailer with air brakes, you must take a test on this information to get a CDL.

The Tankers CDL permit knowledge test is required if you want to haul a liquid or liquid gas in a permanently mounted cargo tank rated at 119 gallons or more or a portable tank rated at 1,000 gallons or more. 

This is an Endorsement to the CDL.

Contains information you need to learn about combination vehicles. If you want to drive a combination vehicle, you must take a test on this information to get a CDL with the Combination Vehicle Endorsement.

The Doubles and Triples CDL permit knowledge test is for commercial drivers if you want to pull double or triple trailers. 

This is an Endorsement to the CDL.
